Having been a founding member and volunteer of ASR Charitable Trust since its inception, I have always been proud of their charitable activities and their progress throughout these years. They run approximately 4 First Aid Camps at the Golden Temple Complex in Amritsar during major festivals to cater for the huge influx of pilgrims and visitors from the
outskirts of the city and beyond. I was fortunate to be a part of such a camp during April 2009. In addition to the camps, ASR also runs multispecialty outreach camps in and around northern Punjab, do hundreds of free cataract surgeries, run a free permanent dispensary, alongside offering free education to orphan kids.
